  • KCA Annual Conference 2015

    10 Sep 15

"Raising the Bar" is the theme of the 2015 Annual Conference. As we’re all very aware, there is increasing expectation from government entities for Australia to improve on the conversion of research to commercialisation with much of the recent press around this sector being criticism that Australia is not translating research as effectively as it could. Further to this, there are increasing expectations being placed of knowledge transfer offices from internal stakeholders who want to see such organisations perform more duties with less resource. Pressure is being placed on our industry from all sides to increase its effectiveness and do more with less, and on top of this, there is a lack of profile and a lack of perceived value around what we do. This conference will aim to workshop through some of these issues, and will provide attendees with tools as to how we can raise our position and better advocate the profession as a collective.
